I bought this boat in 1985 from a friend who bought it new.  I had owned Cobalt boats previous to this one and have found this boat to be superior in every way.  During the 31 years I have owned the boat, I was overseas for 16 years and the boat was only in the water a couple times per year and was always in dry storage.  My reason for selling is I am getting older and find that I really do not use it very often (3 times in the last 4 years).  The boat has been meticulously maintained.  One outstanding feature of this boat is the teak wood trim through out the boat and swim platform with a custom 3 step ladder (custom cover for swim platform).  This is a partial list of some of the features: Power trim tabs, tilt steering wheel,  marine 2 way radio, Lowrance depth finder,  ventilated teak in-floor ski storage, teak entertainment centers built in both sides of boat with beautiful lighting, optional bucket seats in front, full instrumented control console, new bimini top with custom cover, the original snap on top has tear and needs repair, custom boat tarp (well used) and dual axle Okie trailer.  3 years ago the right side of the engine block didn't drain when I stored the boat for winter and the block froze and cracked.  At that time, I had Helotes Marine build a new 4 bolt main 350 Chevy motor and completely rebuilt the out drive at the same time. The motor and out drive have less than 20 hours use.  Only used in fresh water but designed for salt water also.   I did have to boat in the lake a couple weeks ago and noticed the power trim up switch does not work but the trim works fine using the trailer function.  The only other defect I know of is the rear trailer axle is bent on the right side and will cause that tire to wear abnormally.  This boat is not new and has a few dock bumps and scrapes but I do think it is one of the nicest on the lake.  People will stop us on the lake just to admire it.
