I am selling my Cleopatra 700 river cruiser which I have used as a liveaboard for the last 2 and a half years. Selling due to wanting to get something bigger. The boat is GRP with a 1.8 Diesel engine from an early Ford Escort, very reliable and a great engine to plod up and down the rivers. With the boat is a compass fish finder and radio. Lighting is 12v which runs of a leisure battery and I have installed 240v which allows the use of home electrics like TVs etc. Inside there is space for 4 to comfortably sit, with seating at the front which can be turned into a bed, as well as a seating area with table that can also be made into a bed. There is a two burner stove and grill, spacious kitchen area and a pump sea toilet. Areas that would need some attention is the carver heating system, I have just not got round too getting it serviced, and also a pump would need to be fitted to have running water. I have also removed all the windows and had them re-sealed with oak frames, and also installed new runners, but the runners are so tight that I have been unable to open the sliding Windows so this would need addressing. Also the cushions and foam are a little tired, could do with new throughout. The boat would also need anti-fouling and a Boat safety certificate if buyer wanted to move the boat to a river. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to come and view the boat which is moored in Oare in Faversham, and the winning bidder would need to pay a £100 security deposit within two days of winning the auction. Any questions please feel free to ask or give me a call, and more photos will go up during the course of the weekend. The boat is also for sale else where so I reserve the right to take it off unless the reserve has been matched.
