Hello & welcome to my auction, I have a 16ft Speedboat for sale complete with a Johnson Evinrude 70hp Outboard Engine & lots of extra’s, please see the pictures. Unfortunately, due to moving job, I have to move away & I have no room for this speedboat anymore, so it has to go, to a good home.   Everything in this list will be included within this auction, I have included pictures of everything mentioned. For more information, please read below: 16ft Speedboat (I think it’s a Fletcher) 70hp Evinrude Johnson-Seahorse Long Shaft Outboard Engine – Electric Start Evinrude Remote Control Box with Cables – Throttle & Gear levers Steering cable for Steering wheel to Outboard Engine Fuel Tank & Fuel pipe with manual primer pump 2 Brand new foldable seats in white Original Repair & Service manual for the Outboard Engine (Manual is in excellent condition)   The speedboat itself is 16ft long & is fibreglass not wood & is in good condition with no holes or cracks anywhere. I’m not too sure of the make but I think it’s a Fletcher. The speedboat has a steering wheel along with a new steering cable that would be connected to the outboard motor so it can be steered using the steering wheel. I know that these cables are at least £100 to buy. I’m also including a brand new pair of seats, which are foldable, see pictures. The boat could do with a repaint & windshield installed, the inside will need to be fitted.   The Speedboat comes with a Evinrude Johnson - Seahorse 70hp Long Shaft Outboard Engine which is a 3 Cylinder 550cc – 2 Stroke Engine. This has the long shaft gearbox which is ideal for use in the Sea as well as the River. The engine also comes with electric start – all the electrics are working; including the starter motor. The engine doesn’t run, I think this is because the jets inside the carburettor are blocked, not allowing fuel through to the cylinders. We know this because when we turn the engine over then remove the spark plugs their completely dry indicating there is no fuel being delivered. I recommend a rebuild for the carbs, the rebuild kit costs about £20 each, there are 3 of them. The starter motor works fine & turns the engine over nicely, these is a really good spark on all three of the spark plugs, we have also done a compression test, showing the correct PSI for the compression on all 3 cylinders. The engine also comes with the original remote box which has the gear & throttle levers, the cables are also included, please see pictures. The original repair & service manual is also included. (These are extremely hard to find). A brand new fuel tank complete with fuel pipe & manual prime pump are included too.   All of this sits on a 16ft Speedboat trailer, the trailer has recently had new tyres & wheel bearings fitted. Also the winch cable is new. The trailer is ready to be towed away.
