This is a perfect boat for the person that wants the largest interior of any 44 foot boat in the world for a low price and a little sweat equity. Here is my sad story. I am the 3ed owner since new. Purchased this boat in 1993 and traveled the NE and lived aboard during the spring, summer and fall. A divorce kept the boat from leaving New York by the courts. I moved to FL. It has been stored on land and survived Sandy with no Damage. Well after many years the court says it all mine (USCG document has only my name with no issues). As it is in NY and I am in FL with great regret I need to sell. This boat is not ready to go. But it can be kept in the current yard while made ready. I will do my best to cover each part of the boat on the good and the bad. The pictures you see here taken 6/22/16 . Hull: NO PROBLEMS. 10 years ago I had the bottom shaved and re glassed with epoxy resin (110 gal of epoxy) and the hull repainted at a cost of $35,000. All the through hulls were replaced with all new ball valves. No soft spots anywhere. new cutlass bearings. Crane for lifting dingy on aft roof. Need power wash only. and revarnish teakInterior: The inside wood is in very good condition please look at the pictures. Removed the injectors and rockers and think its a lifter stuck. The engine and cylinders were filled with 5 gal of Marvel Mystery Oil hours 1650 The boat was broken into and the racor fuel filters were stolen. If you want to repower rebuilt go for $6000 running take outs go for $3-4000. They can be rebuilt in frame for $850 per kit Generator: 8KW Onan This was installed by the last owner replacing the 7.5 that came with the boat. It has a sound shield. The thieves tried to steal this but only unbolted it from its mount. It has 560 hours. Needs to be bolted in place. This vessel is currently selling for : $85,000 - $125,000 ready to go. (?) This is a easy project as the engine and generator are the most work the rest is just cleaning and miscellaneous repairs. There are many spares on board and many custom add ins.
