GLASTRON V-162 Futura Speed Boat Glastron V-162 Speed Boat with Mercury Blueband 850 (85hp) Outboard and Trailer Purchased several years ago to refurbish and become a weekend toy but due to lack of time and other commitments I can no longer keep the boat and sadly it has to go. ENGINE: Mercury Blueband 850 85HP - Replacement Fuel Pump - Replaced Impeller (water pump) - Wiring harness from controls to outboard refurbished (All connections sealed water tight) New heavy duty battery tail leads and battery clamps Power Tilt & Trim with UP & DOWN controls on dash - working when last used - not tested since - Quicksilver Throttle/Trim controls with electric key ignition start - Foward/Reverse gear / Fast Idle Trim tab 19Pitch 3 blade prop OK, could do with being refurbished but fully usable - See Pics -------------------------------------------------------- FUEL SYSTEM: - New fuel primer bulb - New 30L removabale plastic fuel tank - Replaced fuel pipes from tank to outboard - Fuel and water seperating filter installed -------------------------------------------------------- TRAILER: Trailer is in towable condition but requires TLC. Could do with a service and paint job to tidy up. 1x roller required to complete twin roller fixing - New trailer hubs, cost £230 pair 2x new 10" tyres and steel rims 5.0 - 10 72N, cost £100 pair - Winch on front of trailer in working order but could do with TLC -------------------------------------------------------- BOAT: The boat is in reasonable condition for its age with scratches and stress marks at front of hull. There is an area on the front where the gelcoat shows a worn patch, although this is only noticable when close. Paintwork requires a good clean and polish to which I am sure it would clean up really well and make the new owner proud. Paint colour is very interesting and changes shades colour dependant on sunlight and could be pearlescent? The hull is water tight with no holes, leaks, etc. There are the usual scratch marks underneath the hull as part of wear and tear, but no structural damage! - Replacement 500GPH Bilge pump installed - Complete steering system replaced with new Teleflex Safe T heavy duty steering, cost £150 for complete kit. Steering wheel also brand new but could do with clean to remove grease/dirt. Stainless Steel Ski pole and brackets both sides for ski bars for training ??? - Treated decking recently installed for fuel tank, battery and tilt/trim hydraulic pump with some storage space. Interior in reasonable condition for its age. I would say it had been re-trimed several years ago before I purchased the boat. The interior could do with a good clean. Seats for 4 with upholstery matching interior side trim Storage either side for ski's, fishing rods, etc Stainless steel ladder to rear of boat Canvas top cover included, Unfortunately the wind has caught and damaged, this will need to repaired or replaced. -------------------------------------------------------- Set of CID GTS ski's included with the boat. They will need new rubber shoe mounts as the original are showing ages and have perished. I have found the following information relating to the hull specification: Original Features: Dash Storage Tray Walk through tempered glass windshield with centre and side panes Stainless bow eye and ski eyes Positive foam floatation Vinyl covered side storage trays Specifications: L.O.A 15' 8 3/4" Beam 76" 3/8 Transom width: 72" Depth: 34 1/2" Capacity 1150lbs Maximum rated HP: 100 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE: The boat has been stored for several years and was used reguarly at the weekends with the family some time ago. It has since been stored on the trailer were the work above has been carried out. I have not sea trialled the boat since or attempted to start her. Therefore selling as a non-runner and a project that requires some TLC to make her sea fit again. SOLD AS SEEN The boat is viewable at the weekends near Clacton-On-Sea, Essex.
