Trident Voyager 35 Cruising Yacht at a bargain price.
Estimated price for orientation: 22 000 $
Category: Sailing Boats
Class:
Description Type: Cruiser Beam (feet): 10 Make: Trident Hull Material: Fiberglass Model: Voyager 35 Keel: Fixed Year: 1978 Engine Make: Mercedes Length (feet): 35 Primary Fuel Type: Diesel
I had planned to spend a
happy retirement sailing the Med in this lovely craft but unfortunately health
problems now make that impossible. She is therefore for sale at a bargain price
for someone else to enjoy.
The Long Keel, Deck
Saloon, Trident Voyager, designed by Angus Primrose and built by Trident Marine
is a solidly built cruising yacht with many of the advantages of a motor sailer
but with excellent sailing qualities.
She is a traditional long keeled cruiser, and her “deckhouse”
is what we would call a “deck saloon” nowadays. The visibility whilst down
below is great – ideal for a liveaboard – and her saloon and all her
below-decks areas are bright and airy because of those big windows. Being a
long keeler she will track as if on rails, so she makes an ideal small
blue-water cruiser. That’s why they called her the Voyager I suppose! Her
accommodation offers a real “home from home” feel, and she manages to feel snug
and warm with her traditional woodwork and secure berths and galley. On deck
she is a serious sailing vessel, not an ocean greyhound perhaps, but a
competent and secure little ship.
Good accommodation,
with an infill in the fore-cabin to make it a double, a double in the saloon, a
single to the starboard side of the saloon and a single just aft of the
fore-cabin on the starboard side.
Sails can be furled
and the mainsail reefed from the cockpit making single handed sailing much
easier.
Equipment includes a
small fairly new inflatable dingy and an old but serviceable outboard motor.Payment by cash or bank transfer. All cheques must clear before collection.
