1977 Sea Ray
Estimated price for orientation: 330 $
Category: Cruisers
Class:
Description Condition: Used Year: 1977 Make: Sea Ray
This boat needs some TLC. I bought it to fix up and don’t
have the time or space for it anymore. This could be a great boat for cruising
or fishing. The cabin sleeps two and has a separate enclosed head. There is a
small galley w/counter, sink, stove and fridge. The two teak cabinets need to
be re-installed when the liner is done.
Comes with a decent trailer. I hauled the boat several
hundred miles with no issues. I put on 4 Marathon
radial tires a few years ago and they only have about 50 miles on them. It also
has a new winch cable and jackstand.
It ran well when I bought it. I brought it in to a mechanic
for a new gimbal bearing and it wouldn’t start after that. Turned over just
fine but no spark. He must have broke off a wire when he worked on it. It is a
Mercruiser 260. The previous owner used it on the Hudson
River and I don’t know if it was ever in salt water. I put on two
new exhaust manifolds a few years back that were never used. The outdrive works
fine and tilts. I also replaced the impeller. It has Bennett trim tabs.
I replaced about half of the cockpit deck with new plywood
& fiberglass. All is painted white. The helm seat and lounge seat both need
to be re-installed. The engine cover needs a bit of work.
I took out all of the original carpet that lined the cabin.
I started but did not finish installing foam backed vinyl liner. I didn’t do a
very neat job but it could be saved. I also redid all of the upholstery.
The transom has some bad core that should be replaced. The
gelcoat has some minor nicks and scratches but it buffs up nice.
Thanks for
bidding.
