On 03-Jul-16 at 23:17:16 BST, seller added the following information:Thompson fisherman 240 hardtop 1989 with inboard volvo aq231b v8 petrol engine and volvo 270 sterndriveWe have had this boat for a few years now,it has given us many comfortable and productive days out fishing at sea,with everything we need on board I would class this as an ideal fishing boat.We have used her quite a lot in the last couple of months and as you can see from the pictures we have being lazy in scrubbing her down after each fishing trip which is why we have waited until we were ready to sell her to pull her out and give her a good scrub inside and out and an antifouling. Rear external cover,cabin 3 piece closure cover with 3 windows,this is zipped and clipped and can be folded up to open up the cabin or kept shut on wintery days out.Bathing platform with ladder,hydraulic trim tabs,2 bait wells and I floor well for storing caught fish etc.Numerous rod holders,led lighting which lights up the rear deck,main cabin and forward cabin.she is kitted out with 240v sockets and shore power,solar panel fitted on the roof keeping the twin battery's charged at all times through a regulator panel. Led remote full swivel and tilt search light mounted on the roof. The main cabin comprises of helm seat,table and 2x seats,cd radio,twin burner gas cooker with bottle stored underneath,sink and tap fed through electric water pump,vhf radio,tinted side windows which slide open to half way,front lower opening windows. There is plenty of storage on this boat which is always a good thing.the front cabin has windows to the sides,with the centre cushion in place this makes a good size bed or put the cushion aside to seat a few people either side.Overall this has being an excellent boat for us,she reaches around 30 knots top end or cruises nicely on the plane at around 18 knots which helps us reach our favourite fishing spots around 8 miles out.We were reluctant to sell her but we need a bigger boat so we have decided to let her go.Buyer is responsible for removal of the boat,it is now on dry dock,or if decided to remain on the marina you can organise this with the harbour master.Boat is moored in Titchmarsh marina,Walton on the naze,Clacton.
