Penn Downrigger mountMy boat’s story:
The boat was manufactured in 1986, but not titled until 1988. I am the sole owner for 28 years. The boat has been incredible to me and always returned me home safe. Over the years there have been many upgrades and refitting. In 2006 I did the largest overhaul. All new interior was installed with starboard backing. The hull was painted Awlgrip Flag Blue. Topside was painted Awlgrip white with non-skid. The console was completely rewired, all new Yamaha gauges, painted Awlgrip white. A custom full boat cover was made out of Sunbrella, which has kept everything looking brand new. Over the past few years, I added trim tabs, upgraded the electronics, custom anchor locker, and added the custom ring to the radar arch to add spreader lights and rod holders. The transom was re-enforced in the 1990s. It was rebuilt in the 2000s.
The motors have 300ish hours on them. They were just serviced. Compression is excellent. New impellers were installed. Both carburetors were rebuilt. The port fuel pump was replaced. These motors are bullet proof.
The boat tops out at 44 knots and cruises at 36 knots.
