Description
Listed for sale is my 57ft Cruiser Liverpool built narrow boat. Built in 1989 she has a 3 cylinder Lister engine. One of the best engines around and has never let me down. The bilge is equipped with a strong bilge pump to keep on top of water that may gather. Outside space consists of two seating areas. One at the bow and one at the stern. She has just had new marine ply deck boards fitted and varnished. From the stern a set of stairs lead down to the back door which enters into a short corridor with a shower room on the immediate left. Shower room is completely covered with Aquaboard and contains a rectangular ceramic shower tray and cassette toilet. The floor is fully tiled in black tiles. The bedroom is situated at the back of the boat and is a good size with a double bed and 3 windows. The floor is solid pine and varnished. Moving through the boat there is a diner style dinner table which can seat four. This also converts to another double bed. There is also under seat storage under both sets of seats. There is a spacious galley style kitchen equipped with a gas oven, cupboards, microwave and sink with hot and cold running water as well as a drinking water tap with water filter. The main living area is located towards the front of the boat and is separated from the kitchen by a partition wall. The pine floor continues into the lounge. The living room is spacious and contains two leather recliner chairs and satellite tv. A boatman stove is located in the corner of the lounge and is very efficient. There are two small doors leading to the bow of the boat which has a small seating area. Located directly beneath this seating area is the large water tank. Hot water is supplied by an immersion tank. The boat is fitted with a Victron inverter. She also has an Eberspacher central heating system. The boat will be sold with a new boat safety certificate. The last survey was carried out in 2007. The final paragraph of this survey says "The general condition of this hull is as new, with the overplating of the bottom and sides. If the hull is grit blasted and then given a two pot epoxy coating it will maintain the integrity of the hull for many years. This will make a good first boat and when personal touches are added will make it a very different boat. I would recommend this boat to you" It is also worth mentioning that the hull has had it's epoxy coating. She has also been examined regularly every four years and blacked using three coats of bitumen paint each time. Anodes have also been regularly replaced. Painted in green she looks great and is really enjoyable to take out on the river. Payment through bank transfer.
