This is a 1999 Ribeye 625S. The Ribeye 625S is a limited edition that Ribeye made utilising the Peter Kidd race hull and a gorgeous moulded rear splash well with bathing platforms and ladder. It has been ordered and built by Ribeye with a custom stainless steel wake board tower and front guard rail that looks stunning as well as providing the perfect RIB for towing water skiers, wake boarders, knee boards or anything else.It also has a separate ski pole as well as rear towing eyes in the transom so you can tow 2 wake boarders at once.This RIB has one of the most reliable and bullet proof engines ever made, the Yamaha 150hp V6 FETO. These engines are renowned for their longevity and reliability as well as their blistering performance. The 150 FETO is computer controlled and has Yamaha digital gauges, it has high temperature warnings, rev limiter and oil sensors to protect the engine in every circumstance. The Engine is always flushed through with fresh water after use and the whole RIB including the engine thoroughly washed off preventing salt build up or corrosion occurring.The engine was last serviced in January 2016 by a Yamaha dealer - Proof of this can be provided if required. PERFORMANCEOne of my favourite things about this RIB is the performance, it has a Peter Kidd hull meaning its got low drag and incredible sea keeping ability's as well as blistering speed. Trimmed correctly this RIB will easily hit 45 knots with 4 adults on board!! With the Yamaha V6 torque its got unbelievable acceleration and literally jumps out of the hole. As well as this the RIB also has Bennett hydraulic trim tabs which is a great extra to have fitted allowing you to keep the nose down and plane at speeds as low as 9 knots which is good in harbours with speed limits. They also allow you to pull novice skiers / wakeboarders up more progressively if required and even level the boat out under way if you have a large amount of weight on one side. The Ribeye 625S was made with high quality components meaning everything still looks and works well including bomber deck hatches, nylon seat bases, carbon fibre dash, Hydraulic Steering and Hypalon tubes. I have had the whole boat re upholstered by a marine specialist using marine grade vinyl and as the seat bases are made of thick heavy duty nylon rather than plywood they will not rot so will last indefinitely. It also has hydraulic steering so no nasty cables to get stiff or seize up but nice, light, smooth steering. SEATINGThe RIB's got a great safe 3 person rear bench seats which is ideal if you have kids, a high seat / leaning post for the driver providing good visibility and allowing you to wedge yourself behind the console on those choppy days, a seat in front of the console with guard rails giving you a place to hold on and a bow seat on top of the anchor locker which is great for sunbathing. Overall seating for 6 without having to use the tubes. The RIB comes with a Hallmark rollercoaster trailer, lines, anchor, fenders and pump. This boats been my pride and joy whilst I've owned her but a change in circumstances has meant I no longer need her so the time has come for me to let someone else enjoy it.The boat is currently stored in the Southampton area.Any questions call Phil on 07768458890.
