I am the second owner of a beautiful piece of boating history. I have all of the original paperwork including the owners manual, sticker, parts catalog, etc.. I get great comments about this boat every time I take it out!My 1983 Skier is a limited edition, Stars & Stripes, that comes with combination of the powerful Chrysler 440 c.i.d. V8 Big Block which generates 330hp. This is combined with the famous Power Slot hull design. These powerful boats are called the Super Slots. This 1983 model was Mastercraft's first all fiberglass hull design, no wood stringers or deck on this boat. This boat was mainly used for bare-footing by the first owner and I used it mostly for skiing/boarding. Some of the extras with this boat are:
- White Powder Coated Monster Tower with Ski/Board Racks
- Kicker Marine Speakers & Alpine Deck
- Bimini Top
- Custom Teak Wrap Around Ski Platform
- Depth/Fish Finder
- Cabin Heater
- Barefoot Boom (Great for training new Skiers and Boarders as well!!)
- Keel Guard (Protects the Keel while Beaching)
- Custom LED Lighting on the TrailerThe motor runs perfectly and I just had the transmission completely rebuilt by Calibre Boat Repair this last season. All lights work, horn, blower, CD Player, bilge pump all work as well. The heater works but needs the box under the cubby remounted and the ducts could be replaced. Their is some spider webbing over the metal flake on the bow and the gelcoat has a patch with a slightly different color where the wire from the barefoot boom wire wore through it with the first owner.The upholstery is starting to show it's age and will need to be re-done.This boat needs nothing to be on the water today!
