up for sale is my drascombe drifter 21 it is believed to be 1979. it is sitting on a custom made lizard trailer in very good condition that comes with spare wheel and docking legs and lighting board (2009). it also comes with a very low hours (24) beta 12hp twin cylinder diesel engine again in excellent condition as would be expected with these low hours it also has a new stainless tank fitted.the outfit comes complete with anchor,chain,warps.fenders ,bilge pumps,compass depth sounder autohelm ,navigation and interior lights. it also has a sprayhood that requires a new bolt rope sewn on(circa 10 pounds) and a boom tent so you can sleep two in the cockpitinside the cabin it has 2 berths a small galley area with a origo twin burner and sink and space for a portable toilet ,but toilet is not included.the cabin has just been relined and had two new houdini windows fitted. the hull is in very good condition for its age but please bear in mind it is over 30 years old so expect some wear and tear. but with the new engine and modern trailer this will be fit for many years to come. this boat is a very practical boat that can be towed easily 1500kg gross.the boat would be equally at home sailing on the sea or just running up the river as a launch .it would make a very sociable day boat due to the size of the cockpit.the boat is classed as a drifter 21 but due to the addition of the bowsprit and the extra headsail it is closer to 28ft when rigged this is the only reason i am selling it as it will not fit in my mooring space. the sails with the boat are in good usable condition but are faded as you would expect with tan sails.both headsails are on furling gears. this is very easy to tow .i have towed it legally and comfortable behind a rav four .due to my location i may be able to come to some arrangement on delivery but that would have to be discussed and costs worked out.if you have any questions feel free to ask via ebay messages or by calling me on 07846002312 if you cant get me leave message and i will get back as i am in a poor signal area.ps it will not fit in an envelope so no oversea buyers please. the boat is advertised elswhere and may be removed . thanks for your interest
