Delightful sailing yacht, DEHLER 25 for sale. A well made German make in great condition. Surveyed well in 2012. Upgrades and work carried out include - hull epoxied and polished; rudder refurbished, new reefing lines, new genoa sheets, new UV strip on genoa (sails have ben professionally cleaned). Engine serviced, new battery 2014, battery isolator fitted, new bulkhead compass. Four wheel launching trailer has electric winch. Other features: Yanmar 9hp inboard engine with 2 blade folding prop, VHF radio, Log, Depth, auto pilot, furling genoa, lazy jacks for dropping the main sail easily and zip cover for main, sprayhood (new window panel). Navigation lights. Galley with stove and sink. Mast dropping system. Lifting keel operated from deck just forward of mast using a winch handle. It is a spiral worm drive system which is very strong and reliable (some trailer sailors use straps or wire to hold the keel). The next project would be to replace the steel fuel tank for a modern plastic one and the steaming light needs a new bulb. Accommodation: the saloon has a bench each side which provide large single berths plus there's a forward double V berth. Chemical toilet situated under here though some versions of the Dehler 25 have full sea toilets fitted. Genuine seller: I have dropped the price by over £2000 as I have already acquired my next boat for cruising in 2017. She has been a great little boat and looks after you well at sea. No vices. I have sailed her single handed plenty of times with no problem and I believe her previous owner sailed her to the Channel Islands and back.
