Hi,For Sale is my Mastercraft Prostar 190 Stars and Stripes. Originally manufactured in 1986, and
is now becoming a sought after classic. It has a bulletproof Mercruiser V8 260bhp engine. With plenty
of power for pulling you out of the water and a sound you can only get from a V8.I have owned the boat for five years and it has only ever been used in Fresh Water. I purchased it from
a Widow in Loch Lomond. Her husband had the boat from new and it was used by their family
on Loch Lomond. I have owned the boat for five years now, and again, only ever used it in
fresh water. The reason I am selling, is that at the start of the year I moved to Anglesey, and have bought
a fishing boat, as to use a boat like this on the sea, the conditions would have to be glass-flat for
wakeboarding - usually a rarity.Since owning the boat, I have wrapped it in gloss orange and black carbon look wrap. I have replaced
many items, upgraded the prop to a four blade prop, added a foot throttle, a monster wakeboard tower,
tower mirror and wakeboard racks.Mechanically, I have added a new lifter fuel pump, new ht leads, new plugs, new ignition coil, rebuilt the
carb, filled the stuffing box, new battery, new throttle cable, new brakes, bearings, tyres and cables
to the trailer, new starter motor, safety cut out switch.. serviced and winterised the boat each season - the list goes on.It really has been a great starter boat. Add a bit of weight for a nice rampy wake at around 2200rpm or
crank the speed up and watch the wake flatten out for waterskiing.Obviously, if you are looking at boats like this, then you know what you are after. What is included, is the
boat, the trailer, and mastercraft cover. All as seen in the pictures (the cover is not in the pictures). What you won't get is
a new boat. This boat is 30 years old. It is great to own, great to use and will put a smile on your face, but it is not a
new boat. The engine runs mint and sounds mint, gearbox is smooth, the steering is slick and the throttle is responsive. However, if I was keeping it - I would re-warp the starboard side as it has some scratches to the wrap from being
taken off and on the trailer. I would also re-spray the drivers seat.. but they are just superficial things and wont
stop you have a great season. (Do them in winter). Finally, the boat has 530 hours on the clock. When I bought it, it had
500 hours but when I re-wired the clocks and wrapped the dash, the hour clock never seemed to work
again. I would estimate that the hours would now sit at around 800. Very low hours for its ageAny questions, please ask. Viewing Essential. Cash Only. I am not desperate to sell, so no silly offers. Many thanks for looking - Boat is located in Anglesey. only two hours from Liverpool, Manchester, etc.Dan.
