Crusader 16ft Speed/Ski boat
Estimated price for orientation: 411 $
Category: Power Boats
Class:
Description Manufacturer: Crusader Engine Type: Outboard Type: Speed/Ski Engine Manufacturer: Evinrude Length (Feet): 16 Engine Model: 140 Sport Trailer: Included
16ft Crusader Speed/Ski boat + 140 Evinrude outboard with power tilt/trim + Twin axle Trailer. This cracking little boat was a great little runner but has been standing unloved in my garden for approx 10-12 years now, so will need some serious TLC before it sees water again.
Most of the interior (seats etc) are useable, but very tatty.
The hull is sound, but there are lots of cracks & bubbling on the gel coat, as you would expect from a 30+ year old boat that has been standing for this amount of time.
All throttle & steering cables will need checking properly as well, no doubt. Better safe than sorry as the saying goes. The engine will need at least a new Battery, fresh fuel and probably a carb strip & clean before it will run again. Turns over fine though.Trailer has 4 new tyres and a new jockey wheel. Brakes will need a good check over though. They were part siezed, but I've freed them off enough for it to be towed.Everything used to work OK (radio, horn, speedo etc) but I can't vouch for that now.
As far as I know there's nothing major needs doing, just a lot of fettling, checking & cleaning.
So obviously "Sold as seen" because I can offer no guarantees on any part of it.
Viewing welcome, but please be aware this will not be a quick easy fix.
If you're looking for the perfect boat, look away now.
If you are in any doubt, please do not bid.All you'll need to tow it away is a lighting board & number plate. Low start + no reserve = a great little project for someone at a bargain price.
