This ad is for my Ranger bass boat which is 18 foot long with a 90" beam, dual 23-gallon fuel tanks and dual consoles. The boat and trailer have been totally reconditioned from top to bottom and need nothing. A Hummingbird 190C color fish finder and Minn Kota Terrova 24-volt foot-controlled trolling motor complement the bow seating position, along with controls for lighting, trim and livewell. The trolling motor has 80 pounds of thrust and the Auto-Pilot tracking feature for hands-free operation. There are several storage areas (and glove box), all of which are lockable. Proceeding toward the stern, the driver's console contains full instrumentation (speedometer, tach, fuel, oil/water level and trim gauges) plus a Lowrance 1240A flasher (depth). Besides the console is a Hummingbird 787c2 color GPS/sonar unit. (The 787 unit along with the Terrova alone are worth $1500). A dual-cable steering system (brand new cables recently installed) provides smooth and accurate control. Further astern are dual aerated live wells with auto (and timer) and manual operation. The rear under-floor compartment houses 3 premium batteries (1 starting Optima Blue-Top, 2 newer trolling motor), a ProMariner Tournament 150 3-bank battery charger, the main electrical system fuse panel and circuit breakers and the bilge and livewell pumps. A custom Ranger cover is also included. Seats and carpeting are all in good to very good condition, with some signs of wear but no tears or rips. A very small area of carpeting has been replaced. The engine is a 1989 Suzuki Super Six V-6 unit which starts and runs perfectly. It is both reliable and powerful, propelling the boat to an actual GPS 60mph. It has been fed on synthetic oil and Ring-Free fuel supplement since I have had the boat. Only necessary maintenance was a new water pump, a new thermostat, spark plugs and replacement of the lower unit gear oil (also synthetic). The power head has never been apart, aside from new spark plugs and thermostat. Power trim and tilt can be controlled from three locations on the boat. A stainless propeller (and spare) is also included. The Ranger Trail trailer has chrome-ringed wheels with (almost) new Goodyear Marathon tires and rear tie-down straps. It features a new web style winch with safety chain and crank-up trailer jack. The trailer also mounts a (almost new) spare tire. Hubs, bearings, seals, rotors, brake pads and calipers (and Bearing Buddies) are all new. Disc trailer brakes (hydraulic inertia) make towing and stopping a snap. The rig is very smooth and stable on the highway; I believe the boat/trailer combo weighs about 3800 pounds. People always compliment me this Ranger’s condition, most often not believing how old the boat is. It has been garage kept since I bought it. Everything performs as new; this is a turnkey boat that needs nothing. The fishing platform is very stable. The boat is easy to tow and all original documentation is included. I purchased this boat from the estate of the original owner 3 years ago; the boat had been sitting unused for over ten years. I replaced everything that showed any sign of wear or questionable operation. So if it’s so good why am I selling it? This year I have not used the boat at all, due to physical issues being experienced by myself. My annual fishing trip to Canada has been cancelled as my fishing buddy is also having health issues. It's time to give this boat a new home where someone can appreciate it and use it more frequently. I am asking a lot (based solely on its age) of money for this boat but it’s worth every penny. As I said, it needs nothing! Email any questions or if you want more photos of a specific area. Why spend over $50K for a new equivalent boat when you can get this one for a small fraction of that price?
