Description Condition: Used Year: 1996 Make: Elliott
1996 Elliott 6.5 Sport boat. Build in Christchurch New Zealand she is probably the only 6.5 in the country. Light air rocket and planes easily in over 14 knts. Can sail with the J80's and correct out on the J70's. Overall in good shape. * The (lifting) keel could use some work. I cleaned it up a little but I am no pro. Cosmetic crack at the keel/bulb joint. It is NOT going to fall off but needs a skilled hand (not mine).* Couple dings but no cracks/holes/etc. A little rain does get in the hold when it's a down pour.* Standing rigging good. * Running rigging great although it could probably use a new jib halyard.* SAILS- Two Mains: One A+, one practice/Wednesday night.- Two Asymmetric: One A, one B. The B is slightly smaller and can be seen in the photos.- Two Symmetric: One almost new (red). One is a practice sail. - Three Jibs: I am guessing on the sizes; * 135 - Very Good. * 120 - Good to Fair * 90 - I have never used it but I would guess fair.- Heavy duty keel lift.- solid trailer. No lights so I use attachable.NOTE: The 135 is a J22 jib as it the older symmetric. They fit perfectly. I just started a business and have two small kids so I don't have the time to sail her. A great way to get into the sport boat crowd on the cheap. Ask if you have any questions.PS: I removed part of the toe rail right about where people would hike legs out. There's still toe rail right behind the driver and forward of the cockpit.PSS: Currently has two coats epoxy bottom coating (White) with two more coats of good bottom paint. Currently kept in the water but is really easy to launch via hoist. OK to ramp launch.
