Inside the cabin is a surprisingly bright space with every amenity you need to have guests on board and over night stays, including:Galley with sinkCold WaterGas HobCool Box and good storage spaceThe dinette then converts to a good sized bed. There is a separate heads with a manual toilet and this boat even has a holding tank.'Ali-Oli' is now out of the water, and is local to us for viewings. She now benefits from pre-season prep being a hull polish  (May 2016) she's just had a service for the engines and legs (summer 2016) which included 2 x new exhaust risers and 2 x new impeller pump assemblies. new thermostats and senders.'Ali-Oli' out on the water - fully laden with a family of five plus 2 - running very well (June 2016). Fully-laden, her top speed was 28knots and she was happily cruising through the choppy water at 20 knots. she handles the rough water really well.A little bit of history:Coronet's were built in Denmark by Botved Boats from the 50's through to the 80's.  The first Coronet to hit British shores was the GRP-sheathed timber 22 Explorer in 1963.  The 24 made a big impact proving itself in several offshore powerboat races. The Danes are well-known for their carpentry skills and quality (Eg. Bang & Olufsen) and the Coronet is no exception.  The hull is a substantial layup of fibreglass which is immensely strong making the boat probably more capable than her crew of taking severe conditions.  The teak and mahogany woodwork throughout is of a high quality and skilled joinery can be found inside the cabinets as well as outside!  The design obviously has its roots in the 1960's but it stands the passing of time retaining its character without looking dated. The following is an excerpt from a Coronet Sales Brochure:-'A Coronet is hand-made - by specialists, who work meticulously.  Look around the boat and you will realize that such a finish is rare today.  But turn the inside out and you will find precision work also in places normally out of sight.  That is what Coronet calls quality.  Look at the way, gas tanks are secured - look at the fittings and metal details, or at the way, wooden items are made.  Lift any hatch or lid and look at the reverse side.  Please inspect the boat carefully and make comparisons, if you like.  There will still be things, which are impossible to inspect, e.g. the fiberglass construction, which is laid up by hand, using matting, cloth and woven roving - with all joints and overlappings of double thickness - with a stringer system moulded into the bottom, connected to the reinforced transom by heavy knees.  Balsa wood and plywood is moulded into the deck and superstructure for rigidity and insulation.  All plywood used fulfills the requirements of W.B.P. - it can be boiled for 72 hours without delaminating.  The seaworthiness of the deep Vee hulls is proven second to none by the thousands of Coronets, which have for years been operating around the world, either as pleasure boats or for commercial use.  The exterior and interior design is Danish.  It is functional and characterized by good taste - and good taste is never outdated.  Based on these facts, Coronet has obtained an international reputation as Europe's leading manufacturer of family fiberglass powerboats.  Not because they have built a bigger number of boats than others, but because the quality, the craftsmanship and the design of the boats are something in a class of its own. This secures the Coronet owner a protected investment. 'Ali-Oli' is kept out of the water and is  at Northney Marina - available to view 7 days a week by appointment. The trailer in some of the pictures is not included with the boat.
