I have for sale a Classic Hurley 22 in good condition and ready to sail (Hull Nos ;780) , they live up to their name as pocket battleships as they are very forgiving and easy to sail single handed. I have sailed her extensively up the west coast , across the Irish channel and to the Isle of Mann on my own , she is set up for this as all lines lead back to the cockpit. She was prepared for this season , anti-fouled , varnished and totally re-rigged with brand new 10 cms blue sailing rope. She is powered by a 6Hp 2 x Stroke Mercury which also received a £300 service , including new recoil starter ,remote cables plugs , carburettor and petrol pump serviced. The engine is kept in the well at the stern off the yacht but she has full remote controls and the well can stay shut while running at sea. The remotes are single lever control and operate the gearing and acceleration (these are only one season old). The engine has a 5 gallon capacity tank. It is very reliable and can push the yacht easily at 6 knots (according to my GPS ). " Glyder " herself has so many extras that will go with her , the only reason I am parting with her is that I was only working part-time and now have gone back to full time so I just cannot do her justice. Inside she has good clean cushions , 2 x burner stove ,she is fitted with gas and she has all the utensils you would ever need , electric as standard downstairs and a porta potti. She has two full sets of sails in canvas bags , and much much more , ropes, lifejackets ,flares , gaffs , c-d player , sink and cooking area ,brand new waterproofs x 2 and shipping charts as well as fenders. She has fitments on the bulkhead for GPS , VHF and Compass all only 2 x seasons old all will be supplied in their original boxes. She also will come with her dingy which you can see in the pics (2.65ms Waterline 3 x man ,3 chamber , plus wooden seat , transom and oars cost me £275 takes a 6Hp S/s Engine ) which is also in good conditions.(fold up and stores in it s own canvas bag when not blown up , pump off course and all valves on dingy work perfectly. There are so many other extras which would be too exhaustive to list but please feel free if you are genuinely interested to contact me through ebay. Many thanks for reading this listing , I look forward to hearing from you. The mooring which she is on is hers and will go with the sale she has no trailer and spends the entire year in the harbour (Port-Logan on the west coast of Scotland). P.S ; " Glyder " ; is listed elsewhere if in case the yacht gets sold locally I will make sure the listing is ended.
