I have a 1975 Luhrs 280 for sale! I bought it from the original owners family.
I also have the original bill of sale when the boat was special ordered in 1975.
The boat is solid as a rock!!! Powered by a 340ci Chrysler Marine V-8 that is fresh water cooled, runs great! It was rebuilt in 1996. Very low hours on the rebuild! All of the seats and cushions are in new condition after being redone! The boats cabin has electric head, sink, fridge and microwave. The boat needs the topside above the gunnel painted due to the fact that it has been waxed and buffed so often sense it was new! The boat boat just needs some TLC and your personal touch! Selling only due to my health. See my feed back! I have sent the request to the USCG to have the boat removed from their registry, and there will be a Ohio title avalible to the buyer or it can be titled in the state of your choice.
I have replaced the out dated carburator with a brand new one. Motor runs great. This boat will give you lots of enjoyment for years to come! They are one of the best built boats made! That is why they are still in service today!
Just put your personal touches in the boat and make it your own!
I am including a tri-axle trailer with 6 new tires and rims, new bearings and seals. I also installed brand new electric brake systems to two of the axles!
Great boat for fishing with your friends or spending the weekend on the water! Inexpensive weekend get away!

I have a very nice Nextrail aluminum tri axle trailer listed for sale (item 162160310307) If you would buy that trailer, I would swap it out with the trailer that is under the boat now and deduct $1500.00 from the price of the boat!
