I'm selling this boat for a neighbor who has owned this vessel for 15 years, but has two others and has decided to pass her on to a new owner. The boat is a 29 foot 1973 Trojan F26 Express Hardtop. This is a freshwater Lake Erie boat and is a displacement hull design. This vessel is powered by a rebuilt Chevy 350 engine with less than 110 hours. A new stainless steel prop shaft was installed during the repower. This F26 is rigged to fish with a custom built stainless steel hand rail mounted on the hardtop with five stainless steel rod holders. There are also recessed permanent rod holders in the stern gunwale for trolling. The electronics package on this vessel includes a Lowrance LMS 350 Fishfinder and GPS, dual VHF radios in the cabin and at the helm, and dual batteries with a switch. For comfort and appearance this vessel features a nice open aft deck with aft canvas, reupholstered helm and companion seats, a teak and holly cockpit sole, and teak swim platform with retractable ladder.Below is a v-berth filler, convertible dinette, private head with sink, AM/FM stereo with CD player. The cushions have been redone and a new headliner installed. This vessel also features a refrigerator, electric two burner stove, galley sink, and pressurized fresh water holding tank.Recent upgrades include new eisenglass side curtains in 2015, along with new brass thru hulls with fore and aft bilge pumps. This boat sleeps 4 comfortably and would make an excellent fishing platform. The brightwork needs some attention and the bottom and bootstripe should be painted. The buyer is welcome to make arrangements to view the boat and ask any questions BEFORE bidding. The boat is still winterized and the buyer will be responsible for transporting the boat. It can be driven by water (home port is Lorain, Ohio), or the buyer can make arrangements with an over-the-road transport company. I can be reached at 216-543-5220 with any questions. This vessel is sold as-is, where-is and must be picked up within 10 days.
