Designed and built by Oliver Lee as his apprentice piece whilst at Tucker Brown's in 1952 Paprika was also shown at the first London Boat show in 1955. Constructed of mahogany on oak with a teak cabin/dog house. Paprika had an extensive rebuild in the early 2000s including new glass sheeved ply deck and teak cockpit. She has a 17hp Solé Diesel engine with approx 250 hours running, the engine is serviced annually. All the paint and varnish has been removed and replaced in the last two years. The sails are two years old.She is sailed regularly and has a proven record of trophy winning.Paprika is moored on the River Crouch at Burnham in Essex and can be viewed at any time by appointment.
