Read moreabout the condition Year of Registration: 1989 Engine Type: 5.7 Mercrusier Manufacturer: Mastercraft Engine Manufacturer: Mercruiser Length (Feet): 19 Engine Model: 5.7 V8 Bluewater Trailer: Included Primary Fuel Type: Gas Use: Fresh Water, Salt Water
For reluctant sale, due to lack of use, a Mastercraft Prostar 190. The boat is circa 1989, but was re-engined with a new Mercruiser in 2004 and has been serviced regularly since. The hull is in good original condition, original gelcoat, with a couple of minor scratches, but very presentable. Seats reupholstered in 2014. The Sky Pole makes the world of difference to both boarding and skiing and can be removed in 5 minutes if you aren't boarding. We find that the wake is great without the sack for boarding and flattens off nicely to ski at speed. She also comes with a Fat Sack, and a full length cover, the wake is significant with the Fat Sack. The engine is a 5.7 V8, was new in 2004, is flushed and drained religiously after every use, serviced annually and winterised each season. She has just had oil and filters changed and a brand new carb as the old one had suffered from standing last year (we had a baby). We went out last week and she is running well, the gearbox is smooth, bilge pump and blower work as they should. She has waterproof speakers fitted and that head unit takes an input from iPhone etc. Please note, there is no radio aerial and the CD player doesn't work very well as bumpy at sea. The trailer is good, this winter it's had new axle/suspension/wheels/tyres and sealed bearings (unbraked), it is good to tow anywhere, just not with a fiesta! We have had this boat for 9 years and dry stored her all year round. Its been a great boarding boat, and surprisingly economical for the size of engine, we board at 2,200 rpm. We have just bought a bigger boat for Family Cruising. I'm not desperate for the money, so please, no silly offers and I've too much stuff, so no swaps! Happy to run her up for serious buyers. I would be prepared to deliver within 50 miles of SA73 1PY (essentially the end of the M4) for my fuel costs, assuming a commitment to purchase prior to me leaving. Please google our postcode, we are in West Wales, please only buy/bid if you appreciate this and are prepared and have the means to collect.Call me with any questions.
