Low hours on Deutz 140hp turbo diesel, 7 knots at 1 gph. Needs a starter rebuild and start batteries. 4 new house batteries, heavy stainless rigging in good shape. Serviceable main, two (one new) roller furling headsails. 150 gal water, newer 300 gal diesel tanks. two anchors, plow and danforth. Lots of charm and simple detail. Ruggedly overbuilt in Hong Kong by American Marine of 5/4" teak, mahogany and ipol. Ladder sidestays to climb to the crow's nest. She has a 4.5' shoal keel and a 13' beam, weighs 16 tons and has a sportfish style cockpit with tuna door, teak swim platform and ladder. More of a trawler than a sailer. She'd make a good inexpensive liveaboard with lots of space and 7' headroom in lower salon, full galley, head with shower, ample bunk space, loads of storage for long range supplies. Has a seeping waterline leak at the transom joint from the swim platform bolt holes, will eventually need a haul-out or plank over. Bilge is wet, pump cycles on for a few minutes every hour, could be stopped up with a little effort, just haven't had the time. Needs paint and tlc as do all boats this size at this price, Includes a 2 place sit on top kayak and paddle. Walker Bay 8' dinghy with 3hp Torqueedo electric motor available for $1500 extra. Head, 6.5 Onan, and water system need work, recommend replacing or adapting new systems, thus the low price. Anchored for free in Roberts Bay, near the Venice Yacht Club, sold as is, where is.
