Selling a customized 24ft HTM2 SR High Torque Marine Tunnel Boat Open Bow Motor Boat.Boat runs great and has been converted to an outboard configuration with a 225HP Evenrude motor for easier motor maintenance and additional internal storage space where the inboard motor used to be. The outboard conversion was performed for use in movies in order to make maintenance easier, but it also gives you a good deal of extra storage room in the what-was engine compartment, and eliminates all the inboard engine maintenance issues. With an outboard engine configuration, the engines are standard and uniform, and easier to access.The hull has a few (real) bullet holes that are also remnants from it's use in the film industry. The bullet holes have been patched on from the inside so they do not leak, but they remain visible from the outside. These can be easily repaired if so desired.The boat also includes a small Johnson 8HP trolling motor, as this twin hull configuration is also quite stable for fishing due to the fact you can move around inside the boat without it tipping/rocking to one side or the other. The boat is quite fast already, but buyer could easily add a second 225HP motor if desired (and maybe a bit crazy!).Boat is currently housed in a hanger in Torrance, CA, and can be inspected with an appointment.Sale includes a factory-built custom trailer (tires need air, but otherwise in good condition).If you are in the LA area and would like to inspect this boat in person, please contact me with 2 or 3 dates/times when you are available after 5:30pm on week days, or "any time" on weekends and we will coordinate a time to meet at the Torrance Airport hanger.Similar boats sell for $35k and up.
