This is a 24ft Macwester Rowan Crown yacht that I've owned for three years - now I want to move onto an 'oldman's boat' (with a wheelhouse!). The Rowan Crown is a great first boat, and she comes with a 4 wheel trailer so you move her to suit yourself - subject to a suitable towing vehicle such as a Landrover. She's on the water in Fleetwood Marina which is just north of Blackpool. I'll be happy to take you out (all depending on the tide and weather) but if all else fails we can still potter around the marina. She comes with a recent Garmin DSC VHF radio and GPS, single burner gas stove, and pumped water. There is a Portapotti loo, but the sea toilet pipework is still fitted. Mains power sockets can be used with the supplied cable. The Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engine was installed in 2007 and still looks new! It has ben serviced annually during the winter lay-up.The drive shaft and cutlass bearing were replaced in 2013, and a rope-cutter was fitted. There is a large plough anchor fitted on a self- stowing fitting on the bow, and there is also a smaller Bruce anchor. The boat offers two berths in the full-height saloon and two in the fore-cabin - the upholstery was expensively renewed in red velour just before I bought the boat. There is furling genoa and a round-the-boom furling main - both sails are well-used but serviceable. The standing rigging and genoa furling gear were replaced in 2011.
