***NB. Am hoping to get up there this weekend to mow and tidy so will take lots of piccies then and upload them and will try and extend auction, thanks :-)Interesting little GRP boat with seized outboard motor (Yamaha) moored in cheap private and peaceful mooring with own garden and parking in St Olaves - River Waveney (a private arm). Little boat is very unusual looking. I believe her to be of Danish or Swedish originShe has a cute and unusual round bottom. It is with regret that I must give up this idea as I work and have hands full with 2 young children and we are just not close enough to get up there etc. The mooring is secure in a lovely little spot down a private lane and gated off (locked gates). There is parking and a garden area where I believe it is possible to site a shed as others have. The jetty needs some repairs but fine to use as it is, unless you're very unsteady. The mooring can take up to around 27ft but the boat is quite a bit smaller than that at 19ft. Mooring fees are £150 a quarter and I understand there is a possibility also to purchase the freehold mooring from the owner. Nice pub and boatyard chandlery and stores a minute or 2 in car or by boat. Needs a lot of TLC but if you have the time and patience then this could be a lovely little project.I will try and get up there and mow the grass before the end of the auction.Message me for more info15 minute walk from Haddiscoe train stationLength of Hull: 5.75m (19ft)Beam 2m (6.5ft)Year of manufacture 1996She was sold second hand for £4400 only 13 years ago, I have all sorts of receipts and paperwork
On 20-Aug-16 at 15:21:02 BST, seller added the following information:The steering is connected and turning the rudder appropriately, the forward and reverse gear are moving the relevant bits on the engine. The rip cord won't pull out of the engine. The canopy is in pretty good nick apart from needs sewing along one rear access zip. The plywood cabin roof will definitely need replacing (I think it is an add on and was not part of the original boat). Much of the woodwork internally appears to be solid with recessed brass campaign handles, the glazed wooden cabin sides may also be ok structurally but will need a rub down etc. The GRP appears to be totally solid and this was confirmed by some viewers this morning. The aft cabin has taken on water from a leaky glass sunroof (see piccie) and has not drained out further evidence that the hull appears to be solid (boat isn' t really that old after all). GRP appears to be in good nick all round and the chunky chrome mooring points all appear to be solid.. Please text me your email 07939032968 and I will send more piccies. Many Thanks.
On 20-Aug-16 at 15:30:34 BST, seller added the following information:Access to the mooring is with your own keys through locked gates and is 24/7 365 days There is a water tap nearby
