RELISTED DUE TO TIME WASTING EBAYERS - who have been reported and given negative feedback. It sails and motors well, it can be motored away from the mooring once purchased. It can be sailed within a few hours, as noted below - I have removed the genoa furling gear which is complete but needs re-fiting first before you could sail. The boat is alongside in Gosport, near Portsmouth. Boat can be viewed but I live 3 hours away so need at least a days notice to make arrangements for a viewing. There are no crane facilities at the Marina. Gosport Boat Yard is 20 minutes away by sea, 5 minutes by road and boat could be lifted there if required. Alternatively, if you have a suitable trailer and vehicle (a sturdy 4WD would be recommended) there is a slipway at our Marina and at a reasonable state of tide the boat can be floated onto a trailer at the slipway and towed away - its a bilge keel so easily loaded onto a trailer. As stated clearly below - UK bidders onlyLangsiput - Vivacity 650 Bilge Keel 22' Cruising YachtThis is a great boat, well suited to new sailors and experienced alike. Great fun to sail single handed or with company. This is my dads boat, owned the last 15 years, but has had little use in the last few years and really needs to go to a good home where she will benefit from more use. My dad hasnt been able to sail the last few years and although i have been carrying out various aspects of maintenance i too have not found enough time to get to the boat and spend time sailing.Exterior
Has a Yamaha 9.9hp 2 stroke outboard engine in good condition, always starts and runs well. Gave it an overhaul about 5 years ago with a top end rebuild and new thermostat and housing and now pumps water really well. Had a new prop about 2 years ago. Outboard is fuelled from a portable plastic fuel tank that is housed in the port side cockpit locker.Replaced the main sail last year with a good condition second hand sail. Has furling headsail fitted about 10 years ago.Sailcover
Last out of the water 3 seasons ago for the winter, no issues or osmosis, scrubbed and antifouled.

Mounts onto a fitting in the cockpit and to the tiller, powered via waterproof 12V outlet in the cockpit. Its a Raymarine Autohelm ST1000.

Never been used or filled, we generally use the 'bucket and chuck it method' !under bunk storage in the forepeak and main cabinbuilt in sink with cover and manual pump for sea water flushingmain cabin table - folds away and stored in hanging locker
Original cabin cushions in the main and forepeak. Good condition, vinyl type.hanging locker with rail for hanging spare lines
single burning camping stove built into main cabin, the type that uses a butane catridge - average condition plus small kettle and 12V fridge (which is very small)

an assortment of some spares, sorted in containers in the cabin underseat lockersboat hook, broom, buckets etc for cleaninExterior gelcoat in reasonable condition. Topsides has some scratches, some small dinks and marks in places and has lost its sheen as happens with boats of this age. Condition of gelcoat and finish of all areas of the hull from the toe rail down is good, no marks, damage or scratches.Boat ideally needs lifting out this year for a scrub and antifoul.
Interior in reasonable condition but could do with some tlc to tidy.
At some point in previous ownership the boat has suffered some damage below the starboard side main cabin window, resulting in the starboard genoa track being replaced along with some poor repairs to the grp/gelcoat. The damage is between the toe rail and the bottom edge of the cabin window. The poor repair is noticeable but has not caused any issues in the time we have owned the boat, however given the poor quality of the repair and the age of the repair it is likely to need some remedial action soon. In addition, some of the starboard main cabin window rivets have corroded with age and the window trim is starting to separate. As this is in the area next to the poor repair the window needs to come out to effect a repair and to replace the window rivets at the same time. I have previously refurbished the forepeak windows on both port and starboard side and this is a fairly easy job to do with cheap parts readily available online - I just have'nt had the time to make this repair and want to be honest about the condition in this location. Have a look at the photograph of the area in question to see the issue.I have currently removed the genoa and furling gear to give it a clean and service and have not got round to refitting as have not used the boat at all this year.Needs new washboards, which are simple to make.
Boat is currently moored alongside at a marina in Gosport, Hampshire and can be viewed with prior arrangement. Boat can be trailered - when my dad first purchased it was on a large trailer. We do not have a trailer and there is no trailer for this boat available in this auction.Boat must be collected, can be sailed/motored or loaded onto a trailer as the marina has a launch slipway. The mooring is not transferable and a buyer will need to make their own mooring arrangements.buyer will need to remove boat from current mooring within 7 days of listing ending

No overseas or outside the UK bids.I have tried to give as much info as possible, happy to answer more questions if needed or post further pictures if required. Thanks for looking
