50'x 10' WidebeamBuilt 2008Diesel heating, wood burner and gas boilerFull size under counter fridge Full size ovenGood storageReverse layout3000W converterBlacked Sept 2015Lovely 50' widebeam (10') built by Northwich Boat builders in 2008 as a sailaway plus with fitted kitchen. This boat has a lot of space for a 50' as the bow is built in, giving an extra few feet of indoor space. We have lived on the Gudgeon for 5 years now, but we are moving on to dry land. Perfect for a couple or a small family, as a family of 4 (plus cat!) we now have sadly outgrown our beautiful boat! This does mean that she is a real live aboard with plenty of storage and practical solutions for boat living. The Gudgeon has steps from the stern in to the open plan saloon and kitchen area. The boat is fitted out in oak ply with solid oak trim and has bamboo flooring in main living areas. There is a large living area with space for freestanding furniture to give a more homely feel. In the centre there is a wood burner with a tiled surround and green slate beneath, the green slate extends in to the kitchen area, although this is not visible on photos as we have covered it with lino due to small children! The fitted kitchen has a Bosch fridge, a gas (LPG)full size belling oven and hob and a washing machine. Beyond the kitchen there is a walk in shower room with tiles floor and walls, which is small but smart! It has a sink, shower and Thetford cassette toilet. At the bow there is a light and airy double bedroom, with plenty of fitted storage under the bed. (six large drawers and six small) There is also a freestanding wardrobe. In addition, there is a second room which is currently a child's bedroom, but would also make a good office space. There is no need to ever be chilly on the Gudgeon, there is a woodburner in the saloon and also diesel powered central heating which can be set on a timer so that radiators are on when you need. The diesel heater can also heat hot water, but we prefer to use the Morpho boiler, which gives hot water on demand.BuildIt is a sturdy steel build with 10mm base plates, 6mm side hull, 5mm sides and 4mm cabin roof. She was most recently taken out and re-blacked in September 2015. All body work was also given 2 new coats and any spots found rubbed back to steel, primed and re painted. As we have always been on a residential mooring, the engine -Beta Marine 50hp-has very low hours of usage. We have mains electric hook up, but should you wish to take the boat out or permanently cruise, there is plenty of power available. Included are four new leisure batteries connected to a 3000w converter. The power master charger keeps batteries topped up when hooked up to mains. There is also 2 new starter batteries. DUE TO RENOVATION WORKS AT OUR MOORING AND NEW MANAGEMENT THE BOAT IS NOT BEING SOLD WITH A MOORING AT THIS TIME.Please email with any questions or if there are any additional photos that you would like.Cash buyers, or those with Mortgage already in place only please.
