Easy to tow.The Flying Fox 17 has a a great reputation for being a very good sea boat and provides a stable and soft ride in choppy conditions due to her hull design in this, this makes a good recreational boat.The Flying Fox 17 incorporates a deep vee forward and a progressively milder vee towards the stern. These aspects provide the soft-riding nature of the vee hull, along with increased stability and loadcarrying when compared with a less angular hull shape – both desirable attributes when it comes to fishing. Exaggerated reverse chines running the length of the boat, increase the buoyancy aft, so that if you stand on one side of the boat she moves less to the shift of weight. The underwater aspect of the hull softens the ride by trapping a cushion of air between the water and the hull as it cannot escape past those reverse chines.
