 Wayland Ursus IV 700 Semi-Expedition Quattro 4 seater folding kayak (2015) - Crimson Dark Red  - REDUCED  for quick sale!  RRP for the standard version kayak at current 2016 prices is £2450.00.  This kayak has additional cargo nets fitted (worth £70.00), plus the spray cover has been included (worth £220.00).  This boat was a display model,  only has been used at static displays, never been in the water.This model kayak, originally developed for the military, has been converted for civilian use, and is popular with small families and for extended expeditions in a 2 paddler role.Although this particular folding kayak is fitted with 4 standard seats, you can opt to only use 3 or even 2 seats.  In the 2 seater role, the kayak can be used as an expeditionary kayak with extra storage packed in the spaces between the paddlers.  With the quattro sponsons inflated, the loading limit is increased from 650kg to 800kg.  The kayak is ready fitted to hold an masted upwind sail rig (not included - is available to purchase separately).Deck features includes Bow-to-Stern safety deck-lines, front and rear paddle pockets / holders, and bow & stern deck cargo nets. The hull is made of lightweight TPU with 4 protective bow to stern keel strips.  Four kayak carry bags is included with plently of spare storage to pack other items such as PFD's (not included). Full rudder system and a 4 paddler spray cover is included - the spray cover is designed in such a way that if any seats are not being used, that respective 'cockpit' can be closed off. With all the individual 'cockpits' closed off, the whole kayak can be sealed off when camping overnight to keep the rain and vermin, etc out.  Paddles are not included.  As is standard with all Wayland kayaks, this kayak has the fittings for a masted sail rig.10 year guarantee on the skin and 5 years on the frame. With proper maintenance and care, you can extend the life of your kayak, way beyond the guaranteed life of 10 years.This is a very big kayak - comes in 4 carry bags / backpacks.You may collect from Reading, Berkshire or request for the kayak to be shipped to you. Courier cost within the UK mainland = £80.00 (invoiced separately). Please allow for 2-3 working days for the packing and arranging of the courier before expected dispatch.  Collection is to be on prior arrangement with at least 48hrs notice.
