Boat is SOLD, pending payment / collection  Betty Boop - Maxum MX1800 for sale 2005 purchased new from Bates Wharf Marine Chertsey. with 3.0l Mercrusier I/B with Alpha 1 G2 drive and SBS trailer. About Betty - owned from new by me and Engine has been maintained in an excellent condition with he deck and hull polished and cleaned to a high standard.    As an entry level boat Betty has been used as a family day boat since new and provided LOTS of fun times that will keep the new owner happy for many more years to come.  For those looking for a new start into boat Betty will hit the mark spot on.  She is ready to go in the water for safe and trouble free boating, she is very manageable by new or inexperience boater/trailer puller and will be the pride of any drive way.  As RNLI crew I can provide any help or advise needed (+ some equipment) to start you off on a boating fun.  In short Betty is far more safer and reliable than some of the smaller or  Ebay boats for sale on the market.The Engine has been regularly serviced with no expense spared, she has no know faults or mainentance needed and is serviced for 2016 season.  The risers/manifold have removed and inspected in 2014 & in good condition (photos available) and are not a repair job for many years to come.  Engine fires first time every time from cold & the nearly new battery is on permanent trickle charge.  Betty has always been stored out of water on my driveway since new and never left in salt water for more than 1 week a year. She permanently covered with water/UV proof canvas winter cover to protect the gel coat from rain & UV etc. and you will notice the difference on the condition of her gelcoat, shine like new.   She has been fully winterised every season end and laid up with same water tight covers.  All under water anodes have 5 years + wear left in them. On purchase new Betty had power Steering added as an extra option (lots of 2005 bayliner/maxum imports do not have PS and you WILL notice a difference). Seats & coverings are in good condition with only slight seem splitting to drivers seat (new seat £45 if needed) but it is fully serviceable.  She has a lay flat sun lounger seat, removable rear seat with drained bait box/rope store. Under seat bow storage, Deck water ski locker.Gelcoat deck with removable waterproof carpets (stored off board & used once a year), stored in garage and hardly used, Compared with ply wood & carpet floor she will not need any maintenance for 10 years +.  Betty comes with an interesting and noticeable vinyl picture graphics, whilst I find this amusing and like the way people react to her as special it may not be to everyone liking,  The vinyl was just changed as they fade so they can be easily removed with a hair drier and blunt scrapper if you want a more manly boat. Running cost are minimal, as is the insurance, I pay £14 a month fully comp on insurance so monthly outlay is minimal,  compared with most boats of this type she is the cheapest to run and service.  Monthly fun can be very cheap for those looking for boating on a budget. She comes fitted with Kenwood Marine stereo CD & 4 speakers, LED Fish Finder/sonar and separate depth gauge alarm, +n al the usual dial, speed, revs oil press, trim, fuel, volts.  Deck Equipment inc, anchor & chain/rope, fenders, boat hook, mooring lines. She has a Full camping & bimini canvas package in new condition with zero UV damage, which has been used for over night camping.  Separate (matching) Trailering canvas covers (not used for storage) This will set back anyone boater £1500+ to have made to fit if not available.  Being full stainless steel it is rust and worry free and makes a great addition for days out and the odd overnight for brave campers. Esp great on rivers or sheltered marinas where you only need to sleep on board. SBS bunk trailer with launch bars, new brakes and cables in 2015 and spare wheel. She fits into to the recovery of a small caravan on the RAC/AA etc. specs so no worries if something did go wrong on a journey. Boat & trailer is serviced every year and a  200 page Merc Engine and drive service manual can be included.  Fully valeted for a quick sale & ready to use tomorrow with no troubles or upgrades needed. I have a long list of other equipment to sell to make her ready to use for any family new on the water.  VHF, Wet suits/buoyancy aids, water toys/skis/kneeboard/ Stainless Steel (higher speed) propellor.   My kids loved this boat and so will yours they are as sad as me to see her go but she will go on to a new family to love and care for her.
