21m ex Trinity House Pilot Cutter, Phillips and Son21m ex Trinity House Pilot Cutter, Live aboard 1960. 21m Wooden Motor boat, a Pilot Cutter ex Trinity House, twin Rolls Royce engines, a Classic wooden motor vessel. MV Landward was designed by Thornycroft for Trinity House by Phillip & Sons of Dartmouth in 1960. She was designed as one of three proto-type pilot boats able to work from a shore base. She has a well documented history. She was the lead vessel in Winston Churchill's funeral procession in 1965. She had an active working life, eventually taken out of service in 1978. She has undergone a complete refit and since 1981 has been used as a charter vessel and a private live aboard. Work has continued and maintained to keep her in working order. She has now been reduced to £49,949.00

The vessel is in good condition and ready to be taken. The engines were last started on Friday 19 August 2016. The galley is fully equipped with sink,  cooker (Grill and oven) microwave etc. There are heads with showers both fore and aft and sleeping for six, 2 forward and 4 aft. The layout also includes dining and living spaces, see the layout in the pictures.Loads of maritime books, and handbooks, photo records of the restoration, manuals for the equipment and RR engines etc. All included in the auction.
