Complete and ready to sail away A 5.89 metre, 4 berth yacht ready to sail away, or tow to a new home as she has a trailer (unused for 3 years so condition would need checking.) Approximately forty years old, She has been refurbished completely. This boat has been fitted out to enable someone (me) to single handed sail around the UK. Over the last 2 to 3 years everything has been replaced, it is practically a new boat. I had the boat surveyed before I started work on her. No point spending money on a boat that wasn't worth it. The hull was sound, I replaced the rubber sealed Windows with Lexan with 11mm bolts in 16 mm holes with an elastic sealant as per instructions for hurricane safe Windows, the same for the washboards. Replaced the standing and running rigging, anchor chain ( 34 metres chain, 50 metres rope professionally spliced to the chain), all ropes and lines new over past two years. Snow Goose has new sails, roller reefing jib as well as in boom roller reefing on the main. All electrics, internal and external wiring, and lights replaced. She has full electrics, 240v inverter, twin batteries, Garmin 200i VHF radio, Garmin 750s chart plotter with full uk charts. Sounder, masthead wind gear, full led lighting throughout, red on chart table, LED navigation and masthead lights. New kedge anchor, drogue, electronic uk charts, paper uk charts and pilot books. Forgen wind generator, solar panels, dinghy, new cooker, new 5hp outBoard, new unused porta pottie toilet. Compass, wind direction, speed module. Coastal flare pack, tiller mate 2000, handheld gps, handheld radio, spray hood, dodgers, cockpit cushions, boarding ladder, tender. Spare anchor, rope. Dan Buoy and throwing line, copper anti foul (5 year), and more.I know I could get a lot more by selling her piecemeal, I don't want the hassle but more importantly. I built her for me and if I can't enjoy her then I want to sell her to someone who will appreciate what they have got. You will be getting 10-15 thousand pounds worth of boat so accept and love her, she is insured for £11,500, she will not let you down. She is Moored in Scarborough harbour. Price includes trailer, if you need to move her to a new berth. She is more than value for money. You will not be disappointed. I will even include a full set of coastal waterproofs and quality crew saver life jacket.
