I put this outfit together around 3-months ago on a whim. I bought the Yamaha first in Liverpool for £500 then the following month I drove down to Chester for the double trailer (£1,200) and then, on the same day, to Abersoch on the South Coast of  Wales to get the Seadoo (£700). The Yamaha had a burst steering Nozzle and the only place I could get one was America which ended up costing me £150 with taxes! In total, including fuel to and from Glasgow, the whole thing owes me over £2,700. Due to work commitments I've only had them in the water three times and although they are great fun, I have decided I'd rather have a speedboat (Prefer a Rib) for water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing etc so looking to either sell or swap (cash either way). The Yamaha is a Waverider 500 and the other is a Seadoo 700 Bombardier. The Yamaha, which my 8-year old son rode solo, is excellent for a beginner but it needs attention to the carb. I had to tow him back to shore when it lost power one day. It starts and revs no problem but refuses to pull under load so I suspect the diaphragm may have a pinhole in it. This is a cheap and easy repair as a rebuild kit for these is only a tenner but like I said, I have work commitments so can’t find the time to get it done. The Seadoo is a lot more mental than the Yam and will easily pull a water ski or inflatable ring etc and believe it or not I actually raced a sea plane on Loch Lomond on it. The sea plane won but what a blast! Both skis are Loch Lomond registered until June 2017. The unbraked trailer is double wheeled for safety and quite heavy so sits arrow straight on the road. With a decent vehicle towing it, it’s easy to forget it’s there. It looks pretty awesome on the road as well. The guy I bought it from was living in Italy where he paid £2400 back in January to have it built to tow his Jet skis back to the UK. He ended up putting the whole thing in a container so not only had it never been in the water, it had never been on the road till it got to England and even at that it had only done 20-miles when I bought it. He only got rid of it because he sold one of his skies and transferred the other to a single trailer so the double was surplus to requirements. This thing is totally over engineered and all the rollers can be adjusted to accommodate any size ski. It has only been in the water twice in its life (On one of the three occasions we had them out there was no slip so me and some friends carried the skies to the water) so all the suspension units, winches and straps etc are like new. I realise it’s drawing towards the end of the season and I will probably take a hit on what I paid but I'm not giving it away. I’m in no rush to sell and have even considered just selling the Yamaha on the double trailer and keeping the Seadoo as an occasional toy as I have a spare single trailer so if it means throwing a cover over it all until March/April to get a better price then that’s what I’ll do. It’s advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction early.Cash on Collection and happy bidding.
