Built in 1988 and fitted with2 x TAM D41A 200hp diesels on shaft drives, and in the most popular dinette version. This vessel has ahistory of meticulous owners and is probably one of the finest examples current available.Six berths in two cabins, Offset double forward cabin with dresser and wardrobe, dinette converts to very largedouble bed, Settee opens to third double bed making this a versatile family boat. Fitted with powerful bowthruster and hydraulic trimtabs she is extremely easy to handle and manouver. Electric up/down anchor winchall controls are duplicated at both helm positions. With both turbos replaced 2010 she has no trouble reachingher maximum cruising speed of approx 24 knots.We purchased Silver C eight years ago and have covered over 4000 miles since then, finding her comfortableand economical but with power in reserve. We replaced the cockpit canopy in 2012 and have recently replacedthe full windscreen / side window covers with lined cover in 2016. We cruise all year round so the 4 kw eberspacherblown air heating with 7 day timer is essential and has just been fully serviced (£350 with main dealer) readyfor winter. (Unused since recent service). Silver C has a hydraulic folding radar arch with ratheon radar and electronictv aerial / radar reflector on the mast. The arch can be operated with one hand thanks to 2 x hydraulic strutsand heavy duty stainless hinges. The jabsco toilet was replaced this year and the whole boat has conventionallighting plus high and low level led lighting throughout, including all cupboards, lockers and lazarette andincluding led inspection lighting for the engine compartment together with 2 x high power inspection lights .Access to the engine compartments is via 2 x hydraulic assisted hatches in the saloon and quick assess to thequality glass topped raw water filters / pumps / fan belts etc can be made by raising the hydraulic assisted galley steps.This is unique to this model as is brilliant for making essential quick engine checks whilst under way. Theengine compartment is fitted with 2 x 300 watt tube heaters for winter use and the usual automatic fireextinguishers under the floor. Engines fire up immediately and have been 100% reliable due to regularservicing, oil and filter changes. The 4 x batteries were replaced 2014 with heavy duty 110 ampere sealedunits. There is a Sterling 30 amp intelligent battery charger installed in the engine compartment and a furtherautomatic battery charger dedicated to the bowthruster / electric winch battery which is housed under theforward double bed. This battery is also used to power the flat screen tv and digital radio in the forwardbedroom. The galley comprises twin sinks, 2 burner hob /oven/grill with 12 volt and 240 volt fridge. Smokedetector installed and split level lighting, with ample cupboard space, ventilation and racks. Hot water isprovided via pressurised calorifier powered via port engine and with mains 240 volt immersion heater.The dinette has seating for four with large lockers underthe seating and blown air heating via outlet under the table, with decorative feature above the seating withconcealed led lighting and deep wardrobe space via 2 x sliding doors. The polished wood table lowers to makea large double bed with 2 x infill cushions provided.The toilet / shower compartment has recessed archedsink with shower above, new Jabsco sea toilet, and toiletry stowage locker above. Automatic entry lights andled strip lighting / fluorecent lighting for mirror use. The shower has recently replaced automatic electric pumpout.The lounge area comprises L shaped deep seating whichconverts to make the third double bed. Warm air heating is directed into the main cabin area which also comeswith drinks cabinets, storage cabinets and the lower helm position. The curtains also have low level ledillumination under the pelmets and extend across the windscreen to give privacy between the dinette area andthe lounge. There is a new flat screen 24” hd tv installed on the wall and cd / radio installed in the lower helmdashboard. The four way cd/radio also relays to the upper helm position.The saloon area is also fitted with a quality cabinet / stainless large padded helmsman seat which is currentlynot displayed on the current photos. This will be included within the sale but as we never use the downstairshelm position we removed the unit to maximize lounge space. Ask any Corniche owner and they will almostalways say they never drive from below! The reason for this is the flybridge experience of the Corniche is sogood! Visibility is superb and you have virtually a silent run and perfect control from up above making thedownstairs helm an unnecessary luxury addition. On saying that the downstairs helm does include ratheon radar/ gps /oil pressure/ water temperature/ ammeters / rev counters / rudder indicator/ fresh water level meter /windlass control / ac/ dc electric panels and trips/ navtex weather station / depth gauge and battery conditionmeter and lower helm VHF ship to shore radio. The unit also houses the push button lower helm bowthrustercontrol. The control panel switches all navigation and anchor lights / 3 windscreen wipers / bilge blower/bilgepumps and engine compartment lighting. Brass clock and barometers/ temp gauges overhead. Silver C is fittedwith a total of 5 electric bilge pumps including dedicated pumps for each shaft seal, together with a largemanual “whale” pump with long flexihose piping which is mounted in easy reach in the lazarette. There are fourdry powder fire extinguishers throughout.The cockpit area has an excellent canopy with extended stainless steel cross hoopgiving a vertical backdrop to give comfortable seating (without bending your head!) The padded seatscomfortably seat 6 people and there are deep lockers under the side seats. There is conventional lighting andhigh power led lighting concealed above the double opening patio doors extending to outside the boat for easynight time entry. The lazarette floor is hydraulic assisted to gain access to a huge storage area which again isilluminated by led strip lighting. I have converted the rudder control compartment to allow for extra storage.The lazarette also houses the fresh water pump / immersion heater / and very expensive volvo silencers! Thecockpit area is fitted with mains 240 volt power outlet and D.C. accessory power sockets and stainless ladderleading to the flybridge.The flybridge has large double helmsman seat, L shaped padded seating and fenderbaskets to rear and has a full cockpit cover.The control panel has stainless volvo twin morse control which hasrecently had a full set of friction free control cables to gearboxes . The helm station has a second GPS, speedlog, second Ship to shore VHF, fish finder / recent clipper depth gauge/ rudder indicator / 2 x rev counters andthe usual oil and water temp warning sounders. A platimo compass is fitted to each helm position. The bowthruster is controlled via a joystick control and the anchor winch can be controlled from upper helm , lowerhelm or foot operated switches on the fore deck. All together a very comprehensive control package!Externally Silver C is superb. On 16 08 2016 she was removed from the water andcleaned and polished, given her annual 2 coats of Cruiser uno antifoul and both anodes and studs replaced. Sheis fitted with 12 new fenders / life buoy / whittal stainless steel davits / bathing platform with stainless ladderand transom shower. Heavy duty pulpit rail and wired safety rails with easy adjust fender clips.To summarise: Silver C is an exceptionally well looked after vessel with a host ofextras and is ready to sail away and enjoy!
