For sale is this 17.5 ft Wilson Flyer. I've owned this for 4 yrs. it has been great for fishing trips. I use this for fly fishing in Chichester harbour, and the odd trip to Bembridge IOW. The outboard I had is in a hundred pieces as I took it apart to give it a thorough overhaul. I don't have the time to paint it and put it back together, so it's not included in this listing. The controller in the photographs will be removed before collection. Since I have had this boat I sprayed it with 3 coats of epoxy primer, and 3 coats of epoxy topcoat. When I bought it, the transom was totally rotten. I removed the rear 3ft of inner grp skin to fully access the transom. I removed all of the old rotten ply, and bonded and laminated in new marine ply. I then bonded and jointed the inner skin back into place. It has been done extremely thoroughly and professionally. This transom will be good for donkeys years. The boat comes with standard 40 litre tank, and I made cabinets in front of the centre console to house two 20 litre jerry cans of fuel, and also a starting battery and an auxiliary battery. (Batteries not included) The boat is on a Hallmark Rollercoaster 3 trailer. One of the best trailers on the market. Handbrake and wheel bearings are in good working order. The shock absorber (fast tow) could do with replacing as it has lost its damping. Other than that, it's a great trailer. The reason for selling the boat and trailer is because I am losing a storage facility, and I need to fund the installation of a mezzanine over my workshop. Need to sell asap. I do have a 'Mariner' back up 8hp long shaft outboard that I used with this boat. It's in great working condition. It's not included in this listing price. I will sell separately.
