Foxhound 24 FOX HOUND 24 Fin keel family cruiser, ideal as first boat. Alloy Mast and Rig Stainless steel standing rigging Sails Ok and serviceable but could do with attention to finish. Could be a cracking 1st boat for someone looking for a easy project. Two 12 volt batteries charged by alternator Anchor, chain and warp Mooring lines Fenders Nasa Depth Nasa Sounder VHF Radio Bilge Pump Lifebouy Four Berths in two cabins as:- Double berth in the forecabin Double berths in the saloon Saloon table. Is the single berth on the Starboard side that is below the deck. Pilots berth I think they call this. Separate heads compartment with toilet .Galley with cooker and sink. Ideal first time sail boat. being a fin keel its very safe, but delivers a fun sail. Feels just like a big dingy. Is considered a club racer we was told. 1982 circa . Boat was taken out last year and had a full hull paint strip back. Sanded back and 4 x primer coats and 4 x top coat in original yellow colour. New anti foul 4 x coats. Top deck and cabin could do with new paint to finish, but still serviceable . Boat was a on going project for us, just need finishing. Lost interest due to a new boat. Spent a ton of money on this boat with the hull work and engines. Fitted a replacement diesel engine which is all working. Starts on the key. Needs work to complete the fitting, but functional. Steps finished on engine bay, but need inspection hatches cutting in. easy fix. Basically selling boat as a unfinished project, but close to being done. Call me : 07855 332756 to discuss. Heaps of photos available : email me on : for images. Has Mercury 8Hp 4 stroke outboard fitted and plumber in. Electric start, being sold separately . Now inboard fitted this is no longer required.
