This boat has been in my family for a good few years and we've had lots of fun with it. Unfortunately it's now showing its age and needs a new floor amongst other things. I did start the project - the existing interior has been stripped out and the rotten floor mostly cut out. This is it's current state. I now realize that I am never going to finish it so need to find a new home for it.The boat is a bit grubby in the photos, but is actually quite an interesting colour. The lower part is a sort of beige and the top is a dark brown with gold metalflake - looks amazing in the sun! It's certainly very retro. The engine has been removed and is currently mounted on a gas bottle trolley. Maybe not ideal, but it makes it easier to store and move around. It was running well when the boat was last used about 5 years ago and makes this boat very fast! There is some external corrosion visible on the engine and the tilt mechanism needs attention. I'm not sure if anything else will need doing to it.The boat sits on an unbraked trailer that is scruffy but believed to be sound. This is a reluctant sale, but I need the space so it must go.A quick note on the photos. Most of them are current, but I've included a couple of old ones for interest.
The one with the engine mounted is the boat immediately before the strip down. Obviously the pictures of it running are not current! Please note that this is a restoration project and needs work. There may well be other things needed other than just the floor - I'm no expert. It is not ready to be used! This is the same model of boat used by James Bond in the famous chase sequence 1974 film Live and Let Die.Collection only. Preferably within two weeks of the auction end, although I can be flexible. You're more than welcome to come and view it before the end of the auction.
Feel free to ask any questions - I'll do my best to answer them. I'm not prepared to split the project.
