Honwave T40The boat is 4m long, category C and is rated for 7 people. It has a sectional aluminium deck and an inflatable keel. The large diameter tubes make it very very safe and stable, and it's actually rated to carry over 1 ton! It will take up to a 30hp Shortshaft. The boat is in excellent condition with no repairs or patches. There are some small marks, but nothing major. The engine is a Tohatsu 15hp 2 stroke, manual start with tiller control. This is a light and powerful engine, it starts first pull and runs great, ticks over nicely and pumps loads of water, was serviced last year, but barely used since. It pushes the boat really well, easily planing. The engine is clean and tidy, some paint has flaked luff but that is purely cosmetic. Under the hood it is very clean. It has a kill cord fitted.The trailer was new with the boat, it is galvanised and more than capable of carrying a heavier boat. The tyres are good and the bearings are sound. It tows very well and launch and recovery is easy , even single handed. This package was new in 2006 and has had little use since. It is a very economical outfit, hardly using any fuel and tows easily even behind a small car. The large tubes mean it has more freeboard than most boats of a similar size making it a very safe and seaworthy boat. Ideal family boat. The aluminium floor is solid and stable which is good of carrying kit such as dive bottles or water sports equipment. The boat handles well with the inflatable keel giving it a deep V. It is quick and fun to, very responsive. Along with the boat, engine and trailer, the auction includes a fuel tank and line, 2 adult buoyancy aids, and two child buoyancy aids, a anchor with chain and very long walk, plus a flare pack (but I believe these are out of date). Also included is a trailer light board.Winning bidder to pay £100 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours, the balance on collection, which is from near Stratford upon Avon. Buyer will just need a number plate and a couple of tie down straps to take away. Delivery can be arranged.
