For sale is my 2005 Maxum SR3 Speed boat with SBS trailer.The boat has seven seats and the seats can be arranged a number of ways, there is plenty of storage and the boat benefits from a 2ft swim deck also.
I purchased the boat from Madog boat sales , Porthmadog in March 2016 and I am selling reluctantly due to lack of use as my wife hasn't taken to the life of boating......The boat is in great condition and has the reliable / efficient 4.3 Mercruiser engine.When I purchased the boat there was an oil leak from the front crank seal on the engine, Madog boat sales removed the engine and replaced the front crank case, seal and sump gaske.Whilst the engine was out I also asked them to check everything was good and replace anything that was required, they replaced the spark plugs, engine oil and filter,serviced the drive leg , replaced the gear oil and the impeller so that nothing would be needed in the future.The boat has done 203 hours, when I purchased the boat the tachometer wasn't working so i have had a new set of Faria gauges fitted so they all match.The hour meter is part of the tachometer and when it was replaced it was showing 197 hours, the new gauge shows 6 hours as this is all I have used it since I purchased it.
I also had a new Hi5 stainless steel prop fitted ( £500 ) that is included.The boat comes with a Bimini cover with sides so that it makes a complete cover in case of any rain, it has a summer cover and a full winter cover and a full set of carpets.Also included is a brand new anchor with chain and rope and new fenders.The boat is stored at a Marine services in Pwllheli, LL535YQ and can be viewed / water tested if required.( Genuine buyers only ).The boat is ready to go and needs nothing, buyer just needs a trailer board and that's it.Comes complete with a SBS R2/1600B brakes trailer.Any further questions please contact Colin on 0782 544 6904Thanks.
