Up for auction here is a 33 ft Roberts yacht. Abandoned project. Has been stored in our yard for refit.Sadly owners father developed cancer and he had to forgo project to care for him so we purchased yacht from him in view of assisting him move on quickly as needed.Let me be clear from the start.I dont need this yacht . I have more than enough yachts /cruisers to deal with to keep me busy for years.It will be listed twice and twice only.After that- it will be parted out and cut up. I can get more $$$$ than the listing price just for the rig/winches and Lead keel.It is a great opportunity for someone to get into the cruising market at a fraction of the price,It requires fairly simple carpentry work with sanding/painting and 12 v electrical.Yanmar can either be rebuilt or simply use Yamaha hi Thrust.Could be put back in water now and worked on later if preferred.The yacht can be left where it is for up to 4-6 months then we need the space to put a 5 th wheeler where it stands.Cost is $88 per week hardstanding fee + elec.Alternatively we can arrange lifting /transport to your choice of yard or premises at purchasers costs.FRG over ply with Oregon frames.Hull is in excellent condition.steel keel over Lead ballast.In built s/steel water tankHas a real nice rig with Arco winches.Tiller steer. Alloy davits with solar panels.Yanmar ( think it is a YSE 8 or 12 not sure ) siezed but complete.Auxillary is 9.9 hp Hi Thrust Yamaha.Bow and saloon bunks. Seperate head/shower/basin area.No sails but these available cheap on line.Hull needs only a sand down above water line and repainted.Below water line same then antifouled.Keel will benefit with a sandblast/prime and antifoul. ( we can do this for you if preferred as we are sandblasters. )Rubbing strake on mid section approx 4 ft needs replacing.Port side deck top requires new plywood decking -approx 6 ft.Cabin roof top ply sheets only need replacing.All frames/beams are in excellent condition.All other deck areas are in good condition.Cockpit in good order with plenty of hatches.Cabin/Saloon areas have need of a bunk refit but floors are very good.Some electrical ok but would be better to redo from start.Inspections are welcomed and encouraged by appointment only.We are commencing the process of selling off a large amount of marine/industrial/commercial and domestic related items collected over many years to make way for redevelopment of our industrial estate. Included are over 30 boats ranging from 13ft- 45ft. Items will be listed over the next 9 months. If items listed have bids lodged there will be no removal of them under any circumstances other than if noted as listed on other sites. Like most genuine ebayers we dont entertain oxygen thieves, timewasters or scammers. We understand pick ups need time to arrange but we aim to limit holding goods for over a fortnight unless previously agreed upon. Sensible questions are welcomed . Please include a contact phone number for a personal response as we're not fond of email ping pong. A FEW REALLY SIMPLE RULES. Payment via direct bank deposit is preferred. COD by agreement only.Payment is required within 5 days or we will relist item and lodge negative feedback. Please do not bid on any of our items if you cannot commit to the process or do not have funds to pay for the items. Make absolutely sure your other half ( usually the Minister for War and Finances ) gives you approval. Our feedback should give you confidence and we expect the same in return.
