1978 bayliner
Estimated price for orientation: 850 $
Category: Sailboats Under 20 feet
Class:
Description Condition: Used Year: 1978 Make: bayliner
1978 bayliner made buccaneer 18, daysailor - micro cruiser with a cuddy/cabin.
very easy and fun boat to sail, good first time sailboat.
comes with nice still crisp sails, main and jib, the jib is on hanks and the mainsail has a dutchman self flaking system (when lowering the sail it folds down onto the boom - doest not spill into the cockpit or worst into the water) and two rows of reef point.
the boat has 8ft long oars (that fit into the cuddy/cabin) and a simple removable center seat.
(I have a outboard bracket for it but it rows too easy and sails too well for a motor)
all standing rigging is in good shape, I replaced some the rest is older but no broken strands, same with running rigging.
danforth anchor with poly. rode.
trailer is in good shape - roadworthy lights etc. plus a spare tire.
very spacious boat for its size, we went camping for a weekend, four people with all the gear and a big cooler fit in easily.
easy and quick set up time perfect for afternoon sail on a lake, weekend trips and inshore saltwater sailing.LOA 18beam 6draft board down 2 ft board up 0.58ft (lead swing keel, controled by multi purchase rope from cockpit)sail area 134 sq ft
