A house purchase forces a very reluctant private sale of our beautiful all steel Narrowboat “Escape”. Purchased new December 2011 from the New & Used Boat Co, Derby this Attractive semi-cruiser style narrowboat has the sought after and ever popular reverse layout. Escape comprises of a high quality, British built, Aqualine style specification. Currently lying at Mercia Marina with approximately 70 hours running time only from her Barrus 37hp diesel engine. She is currently being used mainly as a weekend retreat and has covered very little distance. BSS certificate until 2019. The engine has Twin alternators. 3 domestic and 1 starter battery. The Stern deck with taff rail has an oak top. There are Lockers either side of stern doors housing 4 batteries on one side providing easy maintenance and gas bottle locker on the other. The Bow Well deck has seating lockers either side and chain locker situated in the bow. There are side doors opposite the dinette. Plank and pole rack on the roof. The bow deck has a Mike Jordan oak cratch fitted with a Wilson cratch cover, brass horn & lamp attached to a solid brass rail. The stern deck has a Wilson cratch cover.
