Up for sale is a 1989 Hydra Sport DV200 FF. I have used this boat probably 30 hours/week for the last 3 years, so it has seen its fair share of the water. It is definitely "fishable" in its current state, as I have been using it up until a couple weeks ago, but a lot of work could be done to it. I put a new Teleflex dual cable no feedback rack and pinion steering system in 3 years ago. There are also new livewell pumps and valves, and a new dual-bank battery charger for the trolling motor batteries. The engine has always been reliable, in the sense that is will always start and never dies, but it lacks in performance. It will intermittently bog down at high RPMs (drops from around 5000rpm to 3500rpm). It seems like a carburetor/fuel system issue. Some days it wont do it at all and other days it does it a lot. Its been like this since i bought it in 2012. Below is a complete list of all the issues I can think of that could be addressed.Issues:
-Trailer tires should be replaced.
-Only one of the two 18 gallon fuel tanks is hooked up. (There is nothing wrong with the second tank, the line just isn't currently hooked up to the valve.)
-Battery hold down is broken
-Bracket holding the trolling motor is cracked. (Currently held on by band clamps)
-Engine bogging issue.
-Prop is beat to hell.
- Rear livewell leaks. I recently sprayed it with flexseal, but havent tried it since so this may be fixed. The boat is being sold AS IS, and no refunds will be accepted.
