25 foot bilge keel GRP Sailing boat - bilge keel with 3 foot draft and approx 7'10" beam.
This is an incredibly spacious boat and has 6 foot of headroom in the main cabin with ample storage space.
The boat has no osmosis and no leaks when she was in the water.
Comes with:
- Perkins 4/107 4 cylinder 28hp diesel engine - cooled via a heat exchanger. This is an immensely powerful engine that was fitted to these boats as standard and I used this it last year to bring boat round from the river Yealm into the Tamar and it pushed the boat along at 5 knots against a strong spring tide flooding out. The engine was well maintained by the previous owner who carried out a rolling schedule of maintenance.

- Built in coolbox under work surface which does an amazing job of keeping foodstuff cool
- Space for camping cooker (we used a single burner) or you could re-install gas from locker which is in cockpit - I still have bottle and original fittings
- Twin diesel fuel tanksThis boat was bought by me with the intention of carrying out a full refurbishment - however a significant increase in my workload has meant that I simply don't have the time. I did think about just launching her and upgrading her while afloat, but I don't think I'll even have the time for that! I have just used her as an occasional summer holiday base this year, while stored in the Boatyard.She would make an ideal and safe cruiser for a family and sails surprisingly well for a bilge keeler. Her mast is approx 25 foot so is a modest rig for safe handling and reduces the chances of being overpowered when the wind gets up.Anyway... I have stripped off all the old headlining (a 3 day job that I vow never to do again), removed the toilet that didn't work, took out the old rusty cooker and improved the v-berth by adding an infill and making wood shelving/storage underneath. I also added shelves where the toilet/hanging locker was. I also added shorepower with 2 x sockets.She needs wiring for the mast/nav lights and any instruments the owner wants to add - depth/vhf etc plus internal lights. When I sailed her last year I used a hand held VHF and a leadline to determine the depth.
