1984 Checkmate Convincor outboard version. Powered by a 1985 Evinrude 275 V8. 24 degree deadrise hull with pad and notch. Great ride in the choppy water. Boat was freshwater its entire life until I got it. I used it 3 times in the saltwater. I am the fourth owner. The gentleman I bought it from told me that it is the original trailer and engine the boat came with. The third owner had the engine rebuilt. He did not give me a receipt but it has good compression numbers (135-140 lbs). The third owner also had the seat covering redone. The covering is still in nice shape except the drivers bolster is cracking as shown in the pictures.The plywood inside the bolsters should be replaced, that is why the seat bottoms are no longer attached. The wood securing them was weak so i removed them. The boat is in nice shape for its age, it looks like it was well cared for. I just don't have the time to use it. Since May I have only used it 3 times .
