This is a Carina 5.96 metres (19 feet 6 inches) 2 birth lifting keel sailing boat - it is a renovation project. This is a German-built boat.We bought this boat around 11 years ago (we were not the first owners). It was being regularly sailed from Felixstowe. The trailer suffered a wheel bearing failure just outside our house as we arrived home, so we parked it in our garden and it hasn't been out since. Priorities/time commitments changed, so we never repaired the trailer to sail the boat.We are now moving house, so it has to go - being sold without reserve.I went and looked inside/photographed it on 26/8/16 - the first time I had looked inside since we brought it home. Boat - Glass fibre, lifting keel, 2 birth, furling jib, rigging and fittings. Sails and boom stored inside the cabin. Internal woodwork looks like it will clean up and re-varnish OK. Cushions need re-upholstering. There was some water in the bilges. The outside needs jet-washing. Motors - The boat has an outboard mount, and came with a 5hp Yamaha outboard. This motor is stored inside the cabin, untouched for 11 years. Also included in the sale is a Seagull outboard.Trailer - 4 wheel braked trailer. One stub-axle/wheel bearing failed (photo included). We have the detached wheel. When I last checked (10 years ago), these replacement parts were available. I have included a photo of the trailer ID plate. The trailer appears to be generally OK, but I would recommend a good servicing before taking it out on the road. As a minimum, it will need 4 replacement tyres (185 R 14) as well as the axle repair. I am happy for anyone to look at the boat before bidding - please contact me to agree a time/date.This boat has sat untouched in our garden for 11 years, and is sold as-is. Naturally, I can't guarantee its condition.I have included some photos of the boat's original documentation - to show what it could look like when restored. As I said above, this boat cannot be towed away. It needs to be taken away by 16th November 2016, using a recovery vehicle of vehicle trailer. A wooden frame supports the mast in the transportation position. This looks like it needs checking (and maybe a bit of reinforcement) before the boat is taken away. Thanks for looking. Any questions ... just ask.Kelvin
