Maxum 1700 speedboat with 3 litre mercruiser inboard on alpha one gen 2 leg.Everything works as it should and she is ready to go.Top speed with 2 people is around 43mph which is great and she does cruise on the plane nicely at 30mph.There are 2 ignition keys, 2 drain plugs and a set of flush muffs too, fire extinguisher and a spare set of spark plugs. The boat benefits from an auxiliary outboard bracket which can be unbolted if you wish. Some use these for trawler motors to tootle along at low speed when fishing. She has always been winterised at the end of every summer season and de-winterised at the beginning of each season.I will also transfer the registration on Loch Lomond to the new owner if you want it.Work carried out this year.Carb strip and cleanEngine Oil and filter changeGearbox oil changedNew fuel pump (includes filter)New spark plugsNew ht leadsNew speakersTape player replaced with JVC CD playerHawkeye depth sounder installedNew genuine Mercury propellorMissing piece of skeg replacedNew impeller and sealsNew marine batteryStainless steel hydraulic leg pump bracket. (The standard ones fitted are mild steel and always rot, this will never need changing again now.) Trailer pulls really well, I have pulled it twice this year to Loch Lomond with no issue at all. It is a Bramber single axel, unbreaked with alko waterproof bearings and comes with spare wheel and they all have plenty of tread, in fact the spare wheel was bought 2015 and has never been used. The jockey wheel is a heavy duty Bradley jockey wheel, not that it needs it but the wider wheels on these make man handling the boat on soft ground a lot easier.I've owned a few boats over the years and I have to say this is one of the better ones. At 17' she is very easy to launch and recover by yourself which I have done many times. There is also plenty of room for up to 6 people. The boat was built in 1993 so does have a few age related marks as you would expect but for her age she isn't bad at all.The driver and passenger seats do need recovering as you will see from the photo's but the others aren't not too bad in my opinion. I was going to get the front ones done but the guy I use is really busy and I was looking at a month before he could start so decided to sell anyway and reduce the price by what it would have cost me to get the seats done. She comes with 2 covers.Summer cover.I had this made in March this year and it's for use when towing on the trailer or the straps can be left inside and the elasticated cord used to tighten for use on the water. There is also a velcroed flap on the back that allows access to the filler cap without removing the cover.Winter coverThis cover pitches with poles and does not allow even the slightest bit of water to gather after heavier winter rain.See below videos of her in use.I think I have covered everything but if you have any questions then please feel free to ask.Collection within 7 days unless arranged before you buy.Buy it now is final.
